The Group meets on Mondays between 10.00 - 12.00 in members' homes on a rota basis.

Group members range from those who have published to those beginning their writing journey. Members are currently writing poetry, short stories, flash fiction and memoirs and has recently self-published a book via Amazon.

In a joint project with the photography group, members of the writing group produced a video 'Guided by Swans' for Living History Day at Selby Abbey. The video showcases aspects of the history of Selby Abbey from the perspective of different people over the ages. The video can be viewed here
